Master Paulo Brinca, the youngest athlete to be graduated as master in the country, has been training in Moita since 1996. He learned the first steps of stick playing with his grandfather António Brinca (already deceased), continuing his training with great masters in the Atneu Comercial de Lisboa Club. Today is the main Master in the municipalities of Moita and Palmela, with about 20 staff fighters.
The Associação Escola Jogo do Pau do Concelho Moita with headquartered in the parish of Baixa da Banheira, Portugal, is represented by three of the most experienced Masters of Jogo do Pau: Master Paulo Brinca, Marco Cenoura and Valter Abrantes and about 20 athletes with several graduations.
Created in 2017, and the noble goal to publicize the Portuguese Martial Art (Jogo do Pau) by keeping this tradition through the important its experience and wisdom of Master Paulo Brinca and his athletes and board.
